To avoid legal problems, the producers added an extra "Z" and set the show in a fictional county in Georgia. In 1981 many of the stars of the show, Catherine Bach, James Best, Sorrell Booke, and Rick Hurst visited Hazard, Kentucky during the Black Gold Festival.[2] Soon afterwards Tom Wopat, John Schneider , Sonny Shroyer and Big Play Ray made appearances in Hazard. en.wikipedia.org

Some Parts of Hazard Kentucky Music was based off The Dukes of Hazard Soundtrack. Every body knows that The Dukes of Hazard was mint to be shot here in Eastern Kentucky but for some Legal reasons it couldn't, so they ended up shooting it in Georgia.
