![Fav movie scenes This is one of my all time favourite movie scenes ever. It has actually inspired me as a human and musician. The overall great movie "Shine" with a great Geoffrey Rush in the leading roll, is a masterpiece by all means. In this scene we see the pianist David Helfgott (G Rush) trying hard to fight his mental illness, which sadly has been worse due to his piano playing. After some time keeping himself from playing he can't resist anymore and sits down by the first best piano he can find. There are many reasons why I love this scene. I love how he liberates himself by playing and how he goes from being a depressed and sad man to someone who loves life through his music.
