'Drake & Josh' is an American sitcom that premiered on the Nickelodeon television network on January 11, 2004, which follows the lives of two stepbrothers, Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck). Both actors had played roles in The Amanda Show, along with Nancy Sullivan, who appears as Drake's mother in the series. Jonathan Goldstein plays Josh's father, and Miranda Cosgrove plays Drake's little sister. Reruns of Drake & Josh are currently appearing on Nickelodeon, YTV, and now on TeenNick at 6 p.m. on weekdays. The show ran from January 11, 2004 to September 16, 2007, although a second film entitled Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh debuted on December 5, 2008 (but it is not the series finale and does not officially end the series). Seasons 1, 2 and 4 were filmed at the Nickelodeon On Sunset in Hollywood and Season 3 was filmed at Tribune Studios (now Sunset Bronson Studios; the Old Warner Brothers Studio) on the same boulevard.

Character Actor/Actress Info
Drake Parker Drake Bell A teenager who plays his guitar, but sometimes he copies his homework from Josh and thinks about himself. He is very popular during school, but struggles academically. He is the brother of Josh and often dates.
Josh Nichols Josh Peck He is normally the mature and intelligent brother. He does very well in school, but always loses the first position to Mindy. He later began dating Mindy, his former rival and later girlfriend. He is also tortured by Megan Parker, his step sister. Despite his competence in most tasks, he often is hapless. He also is very talented at pool (cue sports)
Megan Parker Miranda Cosgrove The evil, spoiled & annoying little sister of Drake and Josh. Megan constantly pulls pranks on the brothers and cause them emotional and sometimes physical pain and torment. She is the main antagonist of the series due to her bad ways towards her brother Drake and Josh although she is not able to be punished because her parents i.e. Audrey and Walter are not aware of her behavior. However, she does inflict pain to her stepfather in Season 4 particularly like her brothers
Audrey Parker-Nichols Nancy Sullivan The mother of Drake and Megan and stepmother of Josh. She is a hard working mother and is the stereotypical housewife (where she is seen cooking, cleaning and doing laundry around the house). She is fairly strict towards her 3 children when trouble arises and she does not let them get away with anything. When an incident happens, she does not actually try to find out who caused it, therefore she just assumes that Drake and Josh did it.
Walter Nichols Jonathan Goldstein The father of Josh and stepfather to Drake and Megan. Working as a professional if often inaccurate weatherman, Walter is competent as a father although his parenting skills are not as par as his wife's, Audrey, and sometimes resulting in embarrassing results as a towards his children. He gives somewhat practical advice to Drake and Josh and, on occasion, Megan. When an incident happens, he usually listens to what Audrey says.
