Bit of a tribute video here.... Firstly to David Maltby whose excellent aircraft models Have given me hours of fun flying in flight simulator 2004 & secondly to BEA's Red Square series of airliners. This footage features The Dehavilland Comet 4B (Player flown) & the Hawker Siddeley Trident Two (AI traffic) both from David Maltby & both in BEA Red Square livery. About half of which is aerial action whilst the remainder takes place on the runways & taxiways of Lajes airbase (LPLA) from Which I have custom AI traffic operating courtesy of traffic tools & Afcad. If you look closely you may see more of David Maltbys excellent models parked on the airfield!... Enjoy!

Here is nearly ten hours of the Sky News coverage of Election Night 2010 -- the most amazing election if not in the history of Australian politics, then certainly in my lifetime. I started recording a few hours before the polls closed and stopped after both leaders gave their speeches and Sky News wrapped things up.

Six months out, Mike Rann was by far the most popular Premier in Australia, the state Liberal party was in chaos and it looked for all money as though Labor would be easily re-elected for a third term. Then along came the scandalous Michelle Chantelois affair accusation, the polls tightened and all bets were off. Here is the Sky News coverage of that election night.

On the morning of February 22nd 2009, Queensland premier Anna Bligh called an early election, hoping to capitalize on the global financial crisis (that in "uncertain times" voters would stick with the incumbent). The last few polls leading into election night showed it was a very close contest. Here is the Sky News election night coverage.

In 1999, Jeff Kennett looked an absolute certainty to be reelected as premier of Victoria. But Steve Bracks pulled off a shocking upset victory and Labor's been in power ever since. Ted Baillieu, to win back government for the Coalition, needed to achieve a similar feat in the 2010 election. Opinion polls indicated there was a swing against the government, but would it be enough to deliver power to the Coalition? Not many thought so. Here is the Sky News coverage of that election night.
