Colquitt County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was created on February 25, 1856. As of 2000, the population was 42,053. The 2007 Census Estimate shows a population of 45,744. The county seat is Moultrie. The county is named for Walter Terry Colquitt, who was a US Senator.

But on Friday night against visiting Westlake High School of Atlanta, the Packers actually threw the ball less. But when you've got Tevin King refusing to be tackled and running for 277 yards, there is little reason to put the ball in the air. The Packers rushed for 356 yards and added 111 passing and got their first win of the season on Friday at Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium, knocking off the Lions 43-27.

These included 25 tornado, 24 severe thunderstorm, and 3 special marine warnings. During this time, warnings were issued for three deadly tornadoes, which caused the loss of 19 lives in three southwest Georgia counties, an event unequaled for south Georgia in nearly 50 years. The following is a preliminary assessment of the three deadly tornadoes that struck southwest Georgia early Monday morning. The Camilla tornadic storm came ashore in extreme southeast Walton County, Florida, at approximately 0130 UTC (8:30pm EST). The cell rapidly developed a circulation and became Supercell #1. The storm was responsible for extensive damage in extreme northern Bay County around 0200 UTC (8:00pm CST) and southeastern Washington County around 0215 UTC (8:15pm CST) before continuing across the northeastern Florida Panhandle into Jackson County. It weakened slightly as it crossed Lake Seminole around 0400 UTC (11pm EST), the dividing line between Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Supercell #1 then rapidly regained strength across Seminole County, Georgia, becoming tornadic around 0442 UTC (11:42pm EST) near Branchville, Georgia and remaining tornadic (F3) as it passed just south of Camilla before dissipating around 0503 UTC (12:03am EST). For two weeks, they work with community partners such as the Ellenton Clinic in Colquitt County to provide physical examinations and health screenings. They go where the farmworkers live and work, setting up shop in their fields and at apartment complexes and trailer parks. And they work night and day to serve this often invisible population, most of whom live in abject poverty.
