Woolwell is a suburb of the city of Plymouth, England. It is located just outside the city boundaries in the district of South Hams, Devon. Its northerly location to Plymouth is close to the boundary of the National Park of Dartmoor. It has a One-Stop shop, hair dressers, fish & Chip shop, various take-aways, a primary school (Bickleigh Down C.E Primary School), community centre and a Tesco Extra Superstore. The area is sometimes referred to as Roborough because that is a historic village abutting the housing estate. Its table tennis club is the largest in the South West of England.
