Whakatane Airport is an airport serving the township of Whakatane, New Zealand and surrounding tourist attractions (Mount Tarawera, White Island).

It has an unusually shaped terminal, designed and built in the 1970s by Roger Walker. The airports main movements include Eagle Airways/Air New Zealand Beech 1900D aircraft to Auckland and to Wellington . The airport also houses a flight school, agricultural aircraft and commercial helicopter operations.
