Wesley Carter "Wes" Welker (born May 1, 1981) is an American football wide receiver for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He has also played for the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins. Welker played college football at Texas Tech.

Despite being undrafted, Welker has had a successful career. Only one player in NFL history, Gale Sayers, had more all-purpose yards in his first three NFL seasons than Welker did with the Dolphins; Welker holds the Dolphins' all-time records for total kickoff returns, kickoff return yardage, and total punt returns. Welker led the league in receptions in 2007 (tied with T.J. Houshmandzadeh) and 2009. Welker holds the three highest single-season reception totals in Patriots history, as well as the franchise records for most receptions in a single game, most receiving yards in a single game, and longest reception. Welker, who had three consecutive 110-reception seasons, is the only receiver in NFL history with at least 110 receptions in any three seasons. He has also been selected to the Pro Bowl and/or All-Pro Team in each of his first four seasons with the Patriots.

Very funny part of the Monday Night Live football show, called C'mon man. This was on December 1, 2008. At the end of this is a thing for what else is coming up on the show, and they show Wes Welker getting his chest caved in by a Pittsburgh Steeler. He's a tough son gun.

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning came out with guns-a-blazing as the New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos 31-21. Early third quarter conservative play calling hurt the Broncos for the third time this season and Wes Welker couldn't be covered by anyone in a Broncos uniform. In the end, two costly mistakes by Broncos running back Willis McGahee shattered all hope of a Peyton Manning-Broncos comeback.
