The University of London is a federal university made up of 31 affiliates: 19 separate university institutions, and 12 research institutes. As such, the University of London is the largest university in the UK by number of full-time students, with 135,090 campus-based students and over 50,000 in the University of London International Programmes.

The university was first established by a Royal Charter in 1836, which brought together in federation London University (now University College London) and King's College (now King's College London), to establish today's federally-structured University of London.

Graduates of the University of London often use the post-nominal letters 'Lond.' or, more rarely, 'Londin.' (both from Londiniensis) after their degree abbreviations (see post-nominal abbreviations).

Many didn't like the kinda pissy tone of the original video (although notably also many thought the bitchslap was well deserved!). Well yes, but I really just see that as a fairly predictable response when pogobat, aka Dan Brown just put out a video to some 200k subscriber basically pissing on, and badmouthing university education. To paraphrase: 'It was getting in the way of my education' 'just about learning lots of facts' -How would you have expected me to respond? Well anyway, this is the response after taking a deep breath and counting to ten... well actually a lot more than 10!. Dan seems to have changed his tone somewhat. Apparently he's offended that I insulted his parents(?)... yup I was like WTF too... apparently he couldn't tell the difference between 'get a parrot' and 'get a parent' (hearing fail?). He also seems to have 'fled the field' so to speak in that his reply basically entailed his stating that he only wanted to 'stimulate debate' (troll?). Well fine, if he wanted to badmouth education, then say that he didn't really mean any of it, he just wanted to stimulate debate, fine, but don't claim that you're not like Glenn Beck afterward! If you want to put forward ideas on the open forum, either have the guts to stand by them Dan, or to admit your wrong. Pissing on the university education system, then tucking your tail between your legs and running off when someone tells you that you are talking crap is unlikely to impress anyone, let alone when your ...

"Do You Feel Like We Do" is a song by Peter Frampton originally on the "Frampton's Camel" album released in 1973. It was one of the three hit singles released from his "Frampton Comes Alive!" album, released in 1976, which reached number one on the album charts and became the best-selling live album of all time until 1998. The "Frampton Comes Alive!" version of the song was recorded at the State University of New York's Plattsburgh Memorial Hall. The version from "Frampton Comes Alive!" is also featured in the popular game "Guitar Hero 5". After the lack of success of the "Frampton's Camel" album, Frampton performed under his own name as he felt that the band was being confused with the band Camel. He developed a strong live following while his albums sold moderately and his singles failed to chart. "Do You Feel Like We Do" became the closing number of his set and one of the highlights of his show. It was considerably longer, over fourteen minutes on "Frampton Comes Alive!", and featured a number of instrumental solos. Most famously, Frampton used the talk box, an effects pedal which redirects a guitar's sound through a tube into the performer's mouth, allowing the guitar to mimic human speech. As a result of the strength of Frampton's live show, A&M Records decided to release a live album taped when Frampton performed at Winterland in San Francisco. "Frampton Comes Alive!" was originally going to be a single album. "Do You Feel Like We Do" was one of the tracks added to ...
