Ubay Luzardo Santana, also known as Ubay, a spanish football player, was born on November 06,1983 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain where he plays center defense for the Kitchee FC for the 1 st Division of Hong Kong.
Born in a small town near the capital of Escaleritas, he started in the AD. Huracan and was then presented with an offer to join the reservers in UD. Las Palmas, where he spend 4 years alternating between the reserves and the first team in 1st Division with Mr Fernando Vazquez.
In 2003, Ubay decided to move to Castilla-Leon, providence of Spain, to sign up for one season in Norma CD 3rd Division. After the completion of his season, Ubay returned to his native land to play in the reserves of Universidad of Las Palmas B 3rd Division. At the completion of his season, Ubay returned to the peninsula once again to join the reserves of Real Murcia B 3rd Division where he trained with the first team in 2nd Division A with Sergio Kresic.
In his last 3 years in Cataluña,Spain, Ubay played with UE. Rapitenca and Club of Football Amposta 3rd Division where he reached a level of higher category. After finishing his cycle in Cataluña, Ubay moved to the 1st Division in Hong Kong playing for Kitchee FC where he participaded in reknowned tournaments such as the International Seven playing against Liverpool, Ajax, Rangers and Glasgow Rangers taking the first place. Also, Ubay played in the Barclays Tournament against Chelsea, Blackbours Rovers and Aston Villa of Premiers League of England.
Ubay is characterized for his size, excelent placement on the playing field, and for his skill to control the ball from behind. These strong skills makes him be a great scoring defense.
