Túlio Humberto Pereira Costa (born June 2, 1969), sometimes simply referred as Túlio or Túlio Maravilha ("Wonder Túlio") for his great creativity on the field and for his charisma, is a former Brazilian international football (soccer) forward. He has scored more than 900 goals (in his own account) and intends to score the 1000th with Botafogo. He was also elected a member of his hometown municipal assembly. He was born in Goiânia and is a member of PMDB.

Túlio Costa, 1.78 meters tall, played for Brazilian club teams such as Goiás, Botafogo, Corinthians, Vitória, Fluminense, Cruzeiro and Vila Nova. In Europe, he played for Sion and Újpest. He played for several minor teams in Brazil with the objective to score the 1000th goal and to conciliate his political career with his football life, playing in clubs near Goiânia.

Playing for Botafogo, he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 1995, the Teresa Herrera Trophy in 1996, and Torneio Rio-São Paulo in 1998 having Bebeto as a partner in the attack. He scored more than 900 career goals. Tulio had the best moments of his career in Botafogo, where he was twice the Brazilian top scorer and the Brazilian champion in 1995. His image will be forever associated with Botafogo, where he plans to return to score goal number 1000 and become one of the three players in history to score a thousand goals or more. In 2006, a special edition of Placar magazine, "Meu Time dos Sonhos" ("My Dream Team"), Tulio was elected for the Botafogo's best line-up of all time by some famous supporters along with idols like Garrincha and Nilton Santos.

At the national team, Túlio was also famous for scoring the controversial equalizer against Argentina in the quarter-finals of the 1995 Copa América in Uruguay. With about ten minutes remaining in regulation time, Túlio brought down a cross with his arm, while in an off-side position, before shooting the goal into the Argentine net to draw the match at 2 2. Brazil advanced to the next round at the expense of Argentina as a result of winning a penalty kick shootout. However, Tulio failed in having a longtime career with the Brazilian national team. Looking for U-23 players for the 1996 Olympic Games, the Brazilian technical staff stopped to call up Tulio and other players. When the competition was finished, Túlio's career was in decline as he was a substitute in Corinthians. After this point, he failed to get an established career throughout the years and never received a call-up again. Túlio once said that he regrets leaving Botafogo in 1997.

In a match against Trindade Atlético Clube, Túlio scored the 700th goal of his career while playing with Agremiação Esportiva Canedense.

In a match against Luziânia, Túlio scored the 900th goal of his career while playing with Botafogo-DF, a club from Brasília inspired in the carioca one.

As of May 3, 2011, he has 958 goals in his career. And he is not more of the Botafogo-DF. And while he was in Botafogo-DF, from 2009 to 2011, he played in these clubs:

2010 - Potyguar

2010 - Umuarama

2010 - Operário

2010 - Umuarama (played one more time)

2011 - Barras
