|} is a city located in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

The city was founded on August 1, 1906. As of January 1, 2010, the city has an estimated population of 383,691 and a density of 1,468.62 persons per km2. The total area is 261.26 km2 (261260000 m2). By size, Toyohashi was Aichi Prefecture's second-largest city until March 31, 2005. It was on April 1, 2005 that Toyota city combined with six peripheral municipalities and saw its total population rise above 400,000 people, thus edging ahead of Toyohashi into second place.

Chegando na estacao de Toyohashi. Trem bala Touhoku (Touhouku Shinkansen, "Kodama"). Toyohashi (è±æ©å¸; -shi) é uma cidade japonesa localizada na província de Aichi. Em primeiro de Outubro de 2005, a cidade tinha uma população estimada em 379 830 habitantes e uma densidade populacional de 1 413,94 h/km². Tem uma área total de 261,26 km². Recebeu o estatuto de cidade a 1 de Agosto de 1906. A linha Tokaido Shinkansen foi concebida originalmente em 1940 como uma linha de caminho de ferro dedicada entre Tóquio e Shimonoseki, o que teria sido 50% mais rápido que o comboio expresso mais rápido daquele tempo. No princípio da Segunda Guerra Mundial o projecto foi interrompido ainda durante a fase de planeamento, apesar de que muitos dos túneis usados hoje em dia pelo Shinkansen terem sido construidos durante esse tempo. A construção da linha começou em 1959 e ficou completa em 1964, tendo sido efectuada a primeira viagem entre Tóquio e Shin-Osaka a 1 de Outubro desse mesmo ano. A inauguração coincidiu com os Jogos Olímpicos de Verão em Tóquio, que por sua vez já tinha trazido a atenção internacional para o Japão. Originalmente a linha era referida em Inglês como New Tokaido Line. O seu nome deve-se à rota japonesa de Tokaido usada durante séculos. A linha transportou o centésimo milionésimo passageiro em 1967, o seu mil-milionésimo em 1976 eo 4,16 mil-milionésimo no seu quadragésimo aniversário em 2004. Jardim de Iris em Toyohashi. A flor de íris, também é conhecida como Flor de Lis. Neste parque encontramos mais de 300 variedades desta flor, com cores que variam do azul, violeta, branco e amarelo.
