TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile) is Telecom Italia's mobile phone brand, and runs a GSM, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA network in Italy and Brazil.

In Europe, TIM is part of the FreeMove alliance.

TIM Peru was sold to América Móvil and rebranded Claro. TIM sold its share in the Venezuelan mobile operator Digitel TIM to Televenco, a company owned by the Cisneros Group, since then the company's name has been Digitel. The agreement was approved by the Venezuelan regulatory authority Conatel.

TIM Hellas, the Greek operator owned by Telecom Italia and previously known as STET Hellas (Telestet), was sold in 2005 to Apax Partners and Texas Pacific Group. In 2007 the company was sold to Orascom Telecom and TIM Hellas, Q-Telecom and also Tellas (a fixed phone/ADSL provider whose 50%+1 share is owned by Orascom's Italian Wind) renamed to Wind on 5 June 2007.

TIM is the default network for T-Mobile and Orange customers entering Italy as part of the FreeMove alliance.

Na primeira ligação aconteceu exatamente a mesma coisa dessa ligação do vídeo, me ignoraram e eu ficava escutando as pessoas conversando na operação. No vídeo, você poderá ver que eu ligo, ouço o protocolo (aqui censurado por motivo de segurança), sou atendido pelo sistema em menos de 60 segundos, porém, a representante, sentada na PA (ponto de atendimento), ignora totalmente meus chamados de "Alô" e fica conversando com uma colega da PA ao lado sobre seus problemas com o filho e com o ex-marido. No vídeo eu tento provocar uma reação, imitando-a na frase "Tá estressada colega?" (falando de forma afeminada, mas não sou homosexual) e também utilizo o termo "colega" porque é o termo que usamos (já trabalhei com contact center), com nossa equipe de trabalho. Eu estava ligando na operadora TIM somente para tirar uma dúvida sobre uma contestação de valores que eu havia solicitado na semana anterior, mas devido ao transtorno causado nessa chamada, eu cancelei 2 das minhas 3 linhas Pós-pagas na TIM. A última eu irei cancelar somente no início de 2011. Se você ainda não é um cliente TIM e pretende ser, principalmente Pós, veja o vídeo e conheça o atendimento telefônico dessa empresa, que só oferece planos e tarifas boas, tem um ótimo sinal, uma ótima internet, mas não consegue cumprir prazos, nem consegue acertar no valor da sua <b>...</b>
