After much hesitation, I've finally decided to share this video with all of you. It means a lot to me and it was recorded in Suzhou in May 2009 during my and my husband's engagement dinner. The woman who sings was one of the guests and she's one of few èå·è¯å¼¹performers who perform abroad as well. She said she sing this song especially for me (I was the only one not being a Suzhou local) because she wanted me to hear a traditional song and the beautiful dialect of Suzhou. I love the song ever since, and every time I hear it I remember the evening where this clip was made. And I remember Suzhou, my favorite place on earth and all my friends and in-law family I have there :)

å¤è©©è©å®è©å¤æ¼¢èªæ´»åç³in English and Chinese captions; recited in the Suzhou dialect MÇn JÄ«ang Hóng (simplified Chinese: 满æ±çº¢; traditional Chinese: 滿æ±ç´, literally means All are red in the River) is the title of a set of lyrical poems sharing the same pattern. If unspecified, it most often refers to the one normally attributed to legendary Song Dynasty general and Chinese national hero Yue Fei. However, the commonly accepted authorship of that particular poem has been disputed. æé«®è¡å ï¼ææ¬èï¼ççé¨æãæ¬æç¼ï¼ä»°å¤©é·å¯ï¼å£¯æ·æ¿çã ä¸ååå塵èåï¼å«åéè·¯é²åæãè«çéãç½äºå°å¹´é ï¼ç©ºæ²åã é康æ¥ï¼ç¶æªéªï¼è£åæ¨ï¼ä½ææ»ï¼é§é·è»ï¼è¸ç ´è³èå±±ç¼ºï¼ 壯å¿é£¢é¤è¡èèï¼ç¬è«æ¸´é£²å奴è¡ãå¾å¾é ï¼æ¶æ¾è山河ï¼æ天éã
