Stephane Bonnes (born February 26, 1978 in Mulhouse, France) is a former footballer who played for Mulhouse F.C, Celtic, Partick Thistle and Saint-Louis-Neuweg. Bonnes was signed for Celtic by John Barnes on 29 July 1999 but never played a single first team game.

He moved to Partick Thistle in 9 June 2003 and spent one season with the club, making 24 appearances and scoring twice.

He has since blossomed into 'cult legend' status amongst Celtic fans, much like another former Celtic player Enrico Annoni who also failed to figure much in first team competition. Celtic fan website "The Huddleboard" often mention Bonnes as an affectionate option in various polls, ranging from "Best striker ever" to "Best 1980s action movie" Bonnes being the preferred choice of many.

Rumours that he was unsuccessful in a trial match for The Huddleboard football team are unconfirmed however it is known that Follow Follow, a fanzine of rivals Rangers, offered him a game, Bonnes however said "no thanks".

Since retiring from the game, he has been nominated for living Sainthood by the collective 'Online Celtic Supporters' fanbase.
