St. Cloud State University is a four-year public university founded in 1869 on the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The university is the largest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system which is the largest single provider of higher education in the state of Minnesota. With more than 17,000 students, St. Cloud State has the second highest enrollment of all the universities in the state of Minnesota. St. Cloud State has more than 100,000 alumni worldwide; Two notable alumna include John Stumpf, president and CEO of Wells Fargo & Company, and James Bullard, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
