Shraddha Jadhav (born c.1964) is an Indian politician belonging to the Shiv Sena. She is the current Mayor of the city of Mumbai, the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, and chief of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the country's richest municipal body.

It was no sleep and no Bangda (fish) for the Sena Corporators on Monday night a day before the election where the Sena Mayoral candidate Shraddha Jadhav was elected for the post. According to a sainik behind the organization of this special night-out meant for the corporators at a hotel in the South of the city, every corporator was advised not to eat Bangda fish, as it is known for creating stomach problems. The Sena wanted to show its strength and even dragged Ajit Pandit corporator from Matunga (Ward number-183 Ruparel College) to the BMC from the hospital on a stretcher so that the number doesnt decrease. According to sainiks Pandit is suffering from various diseases, which made him immobile. We had to bring in Pandit, because it was the question of Sena. He realized that his presence was needed and he came,s aid Neelam Gorhe, Sena Spokesperson. Most of the corporators were seen rubbing their eyes while sitting in the house while the voting was on for the mayor and the deputy mayor post. The reason they hadnt slept for the last few days and Monday night the Sainiks were asked not to sleep.
