![Were at the small village of Sangju, in the middle of South Korea. Its early morning, and the sound of grass cutters fills the air. Dr. Changhee Lee has come with his cousins cutting the grass for their familys ancestral tomb. Dr. Lee is one of the top 100 scientists according to the International Biographical Center. Like many Koreans, Dr. Lee is visiting his hometown in preparation for Chuseok, the Korean Harvest Festival. Using a lawn mower at first wasnt easy for the scientist. But year after year of Chuseok preparations, Dr. Lees now cutting the grass like a pro. Originally Chuseok celebrations and offerings were held to create a good harvest. The family gives alcohol as offerings to their ancestors. They reminisce about childhood memories. [Dr. Changhee Lee, Chemistry Professor, Kangwon University]: We visit here every year, its like finding our roots, and we take care of the graves of our descendants. I think we have to keep this tradition. Back at the family home, Dr. Lee doesnt take a break. He brings the family tree out to explain some of the history to his cousin. The whole family gathers for a meal together talking about memories of life together in the village. Soon will be time for goodbyes, but it wont be for long.
