Ryan M. Hanigan (born August 16, 1980 in Washington D.C.) is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Cincinnati Reds.

Hanigan made his debut at the end of the 2007 season as a September call-up. He debuted on September 9 as a pinch hitter, and recorded his first major-league hit in that at-bat. Previously, his 2007 season had been split between time with the Reds' Triple-A and Double-A affiliates, the Louisville Bats and Chattanooga Lookouts.

He is the first regular player from Rollins College since Clay Bellinger to appear in the Major Leagues. He was called up to the Reds on August 12, 2008. He and Emmanuel Burriss are the only players currently in the majors born in Washington D.C.
