Romford F.C. ("The Boro") are a football club based in Romford, London, England. The club was established in 1876 and reached the Quarter-Finals of the FA Cup in the 1880-81 season. The Club disappeared during the First World War but was re-formed in 1929. In 1949 they were FA Amateur Cup finalists, beaten 1-0 by Bromley. They subsequently went professional and were Southern League Champions in 1966-67. Problems with a move to a new ground saw the Club go out of existence again in 1978. The Club returned again in 1992 and won the Essex Senior League in 1996, and Division Two of the Isthmian League a year later. They returned to the Essex Senior League in 2002 but returned to the Isthmian League in 2009 after winning their second ESL championship.
