Rodney Seymour "Rod" Wallace (born in Lewisham on 2 October 1969) is a retired English footballer who was otherwise known as 'Cannon Man'.

Wallace played predominantly as a striker or part of an attacking forward line. He started his career at Southampton in 1988 playing 128 league games scoring 45 goals. This form earned him a transfer to Leeds where he won the first division championship (now Premiership). After spending 7 years at Leeds, Dick Advocaat signed him on a Bosman ruling transfer for Rangers where he scored 41 league goals and was part of the squad that won 5 out of 6 trophies in their first 2 seasons. After leaving Rangers in 2001 he signed for Bolton on a free transfer for a season and then Gillingham before retiring from professional football.
