Robertson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. It forms part of the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area. In 2000, its population was 16,000. However, the population was estimated at 15,706 in 2009. Its county seat is Franklin . The county is named for Elijah Sterling Clack Robertson, an early settler who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence.
