Born in Looe Reynolds won three England Youth caps whilst with his first club Plymouth Argyle, for whom he mde his debut in an F.A.Cup tie against Derby County early in 1965. In all Reynolds was to make over 100 appearances for The Pilgrims (and had a loan spell at Yeovil)before moving to Portsmouth in the 1971 close season. He was to prove such a popular player that in 1972 he was awarded the title of Pompey’s Player of the Year.
