Perth County is a census division of the Canadian province of Ontario. The county seat is Stratford and is located in Southwestern Ontario, 100 km (62.1 mi) west of Toronto. It encompasses 548179 acre (856.5 sqmi ; 2218.4 km2), 90% of which is classified as prime agricultural land (Classes 1, 2, and 3). According to the 2006 census, the population of Perth County was 74,344.
