Parke County is a county in the western part of the U.S. state of Indiana. It was formed in 1821 out of a portion of Vigo County. The county seat is Rockville.

According to the 2010 census, the population was 17,339; the 2009 estimate was 16,896. It has a population density of about 39 PD/sqmi. The county contains seven incorporated towns and many unincorporated communities, and is divided into thirteen townships which provide local services to the residents.
