Olin Howland (February 10, 1886 - September 20, 1959) was an American film actor. From 1909 to 1927 he appeared on the Broadway stage while balancing a career in silent movies. In 1921, he appeared in the play Two Little Girls in Blue with Oscar Shaw and the Fairbanks Twins. He was in Janice Meredith (1924) with Marion Davies. He appeared in 200 films between 1918 and 1958.

He was born in Denver, Colorado, and died in Hollywood, California. Howland's sister was the famous stage actress Jobyna Howland.

As a young man he had been taught to fly at the Wright Flying School and soloed on a Wright Model B. This lent special sentiment in his scenes with James Stewart in the movie The Spirit of St. Louis (1957). Both Howland and Stewart were pilots in real life. The Spirit of St. Louis and The Blob (1958) were Howland's last films.
