Jungle is a genre of electronic music that incorporates influences from genres including breakbeat hardcore, and reggae/dub/dancehall . There is significant debate as to whether jungle is a separate genre from drum and bass as many use the terms interchangeably. For those that consider them separate genres, drum and bass is usually considered to have started to separate musically from jungle in the mid to late 1990s.

Darkside Oldschool Rave Tunes with 3 tunes mixed that was quite heavey for the time and creepy. It influenced Jungle and Drum and Bass to make its own darkside influence. Sorry to say if the Mix does not do it justice but I used some awkward software with no fade options, I still use basic software and the mixes are now slightly better, I am always improving so don't judge an old sketch on what one day could produce a work of art, thanks.

The outer casing was well faded and dirty but the actual magnetic tape seemed ok. All ive done is remove as much of the noise as I could, added some compression and cut it into segments. The first vid is short and you will be missing some of the mix because that part the magnetic tape was fubar. Was recorded at a after party mid morning, so there are some obvious mistakes (some levels coulda used a little more gain but its a minor issue) however it was fun. Has some of the best Jungle tunes of the time. This is the start of many new mixes to be uploaded, next will be a more mellow jazzy ambient thing I made for my girl i think in 2001...
