Ochiltree County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. In 2005, the United States Census Bureau estimated its population to be 9,385, an increase from the figure of 10,223 recorded in the 2010 census. The county seat is Perryton . The county is named for William Beck Ochiltree, who was the Attorney General of the Republic of Texas. Ochiltree County is one of 30 prohibition or entirely dry counties in the state of Texas.

Ochiltree County was organized in 1876.
