Noel Dempsey (born 6 January 1953) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He is the current Minister for Transport and a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Meath West constituency. Dempsey has previously served as Minister for Environment and Local Government (1997 � 2002), Minister for Education and Science (2002 � 2004) and Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources (2004 � 2007).
