'Nitro Circus' was an American television series that featured Travis Pastrana and his friends traveling around the world riding dirtbikes, base jumping, and performing reckless stunts. It was originally run as a miniseries in 2006 on Fuel TV. In January 2009, it began running as an episodic reality television show on MTV that featured people performing various dangerous stunts. The series officially debuted on February 8, 2009. Season 2 premiered on August 27, 2009.

On March 3, 2010, cast member Jim DeChamp posted on his personal Facebook page that MTV had cancelled the show.

As of May 2010, the show has been removed from MTV's Current Shows page.

On June 2 2010 while touring with Nitro Circus in Australia, Travis Pastrana was asked if he would be continuing with the show. He replied "We'll see what happens when we get back to America".

on June 3 2010 the show resumed filming.
