Nepal Airlines (formerly known as Royal Nepal Airlines) is the national, flag-carrier airline of Nepal. Its main base is Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. The airline was established in July 1958 as Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC). The airlines first aircraft was a single Douglas DC-3, used to serve domestic routes and a handful of destinations in India. The airline acquired its first jet aircraft, Boeing 727's, in 1972. In 2004 the Nepal Government decided to sell off 49% of its stake in Nepal Airlines to the private sector. Presently, the airline operates a fleet of seven aircraft and flies to 39 destinations; seven of which are international.

This one is for you TacticalDude!!! :) Thanks for the inspiration Buddy. Also dedicated to the men and women of the US Coast Guard. Those guys/gals are angels and true patriots and heroes. Just watch Deadliest Catch sometime and you will see what I mean... Here's the Scenario: OK. So a duck and a prostitute walk into a bar... Kidding :) Yeti Airlines-Twin Otter full of Mt. Everest Climbers leaves Kathmandu Nepal in heavy snow en-route to Lukla airport high in the Himalayas. In a stroke of very bad luck (and unlikely odds) both engines fail at exactly the same time. With few options, the pilots land in a mountain valley with the aircraft relatively intact and all passengers alive and unharmed. Cold, tired and scared $hitless they can only hope that someone comes to the rescue. The US Coast Guard (on a training mission in Lukla) gets the call fromdispatch about a ELT giving off a signal somewhere between Lukla and Kathmandu. Braving the heavy snow and high altitude, the Jayhawk locates and retrieves the Otter clan and takes them back to Kathmandu. Drinks, hugs, kissed and some indiscriminate casual sex ensue for all. Caveats: 1. Clearly, the odds of losing both engines simultaneously is slim at best. 2. The USCG would be nowhere near Nepal. LOL!! 3. A Jayhawk would have a helluva hard time getting off the ground at that altitude (Lukla) and and even harder time picking up a Twin Otter full of people high in the Himalayas. 4. I added some special effects... tacky? Maybe ...
