The Mozambique national football team, popularly known as The Black Mambas, is the national association football team of Mozambique and is controlled by the Federação Moçambicana de Futebol. Mozambique have never qualified for a FIFA World Cup, but they have qualified for four Africa Cup of Nations in 1986, 1996, 1998 and most recently the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola, their fellow Lusophone centre of Portuguese in Africa. Mozambique are currently 80th in the FIFA world rankings, with their highest ever ranking 66th in November 1997.
