Michael Eben is a former wide receiver who played ten seasons in the Canadian Football League, mainly for the Toronto Argonauts. Eben played college football at the University of Toronto and won the Hec Crighton Trophy in 1967 as the most outstanding Canadian university player. In addition to his professional football career, he is an academic with a PhD in German studies. He is multilingual.
He left Upper Canada College after teaching there for 22 years. His subject, German, is no longer taught at the school, being replaced by Mandarin Chinese.
Mike is currently teaching French at Sterling Hall School, an all boys private school in Toronto.
