This was a talent competition I took part in organised by Mediacorp Okto. It's a really really big and the finals were shown on TV. In the end, I was 2nd. I sang Fighter by Christina Aguilera. 1 Minute of Fame is a competition where you can show off your talents in just 1 minute. 1st: Magician Boy 2nd: Zora 3rd: MC Hammer Boy
1.12 min. | 4.8 user rating		 Juliet and I had a blast doing a live music segment recording on 3rd Mar 09 for oktoLIVE!; a program on Singapore's new TV channel, Okto, at the MediaCorp studios. It was quite an experience with lights, funky colours, cameras, cheers, familiar faces, and the adrenalin of having to reselect our song choice during the dry run! We decided quickly to perform Sunday Morning by Maroon5, in the jazzy arrangement I did for it a while ago ( www.youtube.com ) instead of our more chilled-out original, Star/ Twinkle Twinkle ( www.youtube.com ), which we were more prepared for. Nonetheless, Juliet memorized the lyrics lightning fast, did an inspiring improv over and I took the chance to sing a chorus with her. But boy was it cold, our lips and fingers were freezing and needed some good ol' warming up before we got on set!
