Martin County is a county located in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of 2010, the population was 10,334. The county seat is Shoals . On April 2, 2006, Martin County switched to the Central Time Zone. Their petition to return to the Eastern Time Zone also caused five other counties to follow suit. It returned to the Eastern Time Zone on November 4, 2007.
