Lewis County is a county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. Established in 1911, it was named after the explorer Meriwether Lewis. The population was 3,747 at the 2000 census; it was estimated at 3,581 in 2007. The county seat is Nezperce, and Kamiah is the county's largest city.
