Lehigh County is a county located in the Lehigh Valley region of the eastern part of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the county's population was 349,497. Its county seat is Allentown, the state's third largest city behind Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. In addition to Allentown, the county includes the western section of the city of Bethlehem, six boroughs and 14 townships.

The county, which was first settled around 1730, was formed in 1812 with the division of Northampton County into two counties. It is named after the Lehigh River, whose name is derived from the Delaware Indian term Lechauweki or Lechauwekink, meaning "where there are forks".

Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched companies 33 (Han-Le-Co) & 41 (LVIA Airport) to 2756 Suzanne Way for a house fire at 1909 hours. Simultaneously, Northampton County was receiving multiple calls for the same house and they sent company 15. The airport crash truch arrives first and hits the bulk of the fire with the deck gun. However, the fire extended to the 6 or 7 other homes in the row before additional companies arrived. Ladder 2 (Catasauqua) and Ladder 15 (Han-Nor-Co) went to the roof to open up multiple vent holes. Multiple hand lines were in-service as crews battled the blaze from inside and outside the home, opening up walls and ceilings to gain access to the fire. In all 6 homes were heavily damaged by the fast moving fire. Lehigh County companies working at the scene included 33, 41, 2, 11 and 5. Northampton County companies included 15, 45 & 46. Under Control was transmitted by Chief 33 at 2137 hours. Rescue/Pumper 3341 remained on scene throughout the night on fire watch.
