Larry Stegent (born December 1, 1947) was a National Football League running back for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1971. Although highly touted during his collegiate career at Texas A&M, he proved to be a disappointment in the NFL (owing in part to a knee injury in his first and only preseason game) as he only played in seven games recording just one reception for 12 yards.
Larry now lives with his wife, the former Miss Petunia Holt, in Smyrna, Georgia. He is a dog breeder specializing in exotic breeds. Breeding Shih Tzu's and American Pit Bull Terrier's is his current enterprise.
