Kyle May (born 7 September 1982 in Carlisle, England) is a Semi Pro Defender with Conference North side Workington. May started his career with home town club Carlisle United as a youngster. He moved to Gretna in 2002 along with several other Carlisle fringe players. May made 28 first team appearances, mostly during the 2003/04 season. In July 2004 he was loaned out to Workington AFC in the Northern Premier League Premier Division along with fellow Gretna players Gary Cohen and Mark Eccles. May played 22 games as a loan player and he was transferred permanently in the January 2005 transfer window on a three year contract. May firmly established himself as a Key Player for Workington during the 2004/05 campaign picking up the player of the season award. Workington were promoted to the Conference North at the end of the season, May scored one of the penalties in play off final shoot-out. May Signed a new one year contract with Workington in June 2007. Following Steve Birks's Departure to Newcastle Blue Star May was named as the Club's new captain by Manager Darren Edmondson.
