Here's what John says about his serve: "The toss is very important in maintaining a consisitent service motion but there are some other things you should work on as well. 1) Keep a relaxed loose grip on the racquet. This will enable you to get alot more power and wrist snap 2) Always have the same routine before every service motion regardless if it is a first serve or a second serve. Find a routine that is comfortable for you. If you ever watch me serve I always for some reason bounce the ball between my legs before every serve. I don't know why I do this but I always have. Let me know if you ever see me hit a serve before bouncing the ball between my legs- I am pretty sure I do it everytime! 3) Always keep the toss in front of you." The greatest battle in tennis history. Longest tennis match ever.
