Jim Pattison Group Video

Jim Pattison, Jimmy to his friends is one of British Columbias wealthiest individuals with a net worth estimated at 7 billion. His reputation is that of a ruthless businessman who would each month fire his car salesman with the least amount of sales, more recently he closed some of his Overwaitea Grocery stores not because they were loosing money but because they were not making enough money. Jim (Jimmy) showed his softer side when devastating winter storms decimated the trees of Stanley Park in Vancouver by giving more than 1 million dollars to help with the clean up. To anyone traveling the Okanagan Valley by Vernon, Kelowna, Westbank, Penticton, Oliver and Osoyoos, one of the most visible forms of POLUTTION is the absolutely staggering numbers of billboards that line our highways. Its disgusting so first people should call companies who use this form of advertising and express their disapproval, with perhaps talk of not supporting those companies and their product (boycott), there should be a concentrated effort at lobbying politicians to restrict and eliminate billboards and finally reach out to MR. Pattison to take an initiative and voluntarily remove the billboards.
