Javier Aguirre Onaindía (born December 1, 1958 in Mexico City), popularly nicknamed El Vasco (The Basque), is a Mexican football manager and former midfielder. He was also a member of the Mexican national team and later became manager, but resigned after the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
