Isthmian Ryman Premier League Harrow Borough 1 Carshalton Athletic 3 Saturday 18th August 2007 Earlsmead,South Harrow The 2007/08 campaign started with a 1-3 defeat for Harrow Boro not since the reign of Eddie Stein have I heard so much distain for the team's performance. I thought that the Lads tried hard in the second half to correct the situation but it wasn't to be.We are all very disapointed.....it surely must get better There will be plenty of pictures and some video. Both video and still pictures should be an improvement on previous seasons and the video also has sound. There are 12 or 13 video clips but these will be whittled down in number as I did with the Wembley v Sandhurst game last week. The winners will be on You Tube"youtube.com Harrow Borough FC hbfc.notlong.com http Wembley FC thelions.notlong.com http

Boro's reaction to losing to League Two side, Chesterfield, in the FA Cup in early November has been to put together an eight-game (and counting, hopefully) unbeaten run in the Ryman Premier Division. The sequence of two draws and six wins has seen the Reds score twenty-two goals, and concede just six; a remarkable record, but fully-deserved due to some fantastic team performances. Boro' lost 2-0 at Canvey in the second match of the season, but took revenge in style in the return fixture. Two strikes each from Troy Hewitt and Daniel McGonigle, a penalty by Rocky Baptiste, and a rare headed goal by Kenta Nakashima gave Harrow a stunning victory over a good side. Look out for the two excellent goals by Daniel McGonigle in particular. Seven goals in a terrific match on a difficult pitch, and even a tumble from the referee - what more could you want? Have a peaceful 2011. The Fool (and his Monkey)

Boro' ended the season on a high, with six goals against Ashford Town (Middx). Harrow's final league position was 14th, with 53 points, and the first positive goal difference achieved in over a decade. The only sad thing to report on a sunny day with tons of goals was that our hosts were relegated at the end of play. I wish former Boro' favourite, Jamie Lawrence, and his club a speedy return to the Premier Division. Thank you to the manager, David Howell, his players and backroom staff, the club chairman, Peter Rogers, his fellow directors, the bar staff, the volunteers, and the Vice-Presidents Association for keeping the club running on and off the pitch. Thank you also to everyone who came along to support Harrow Borough this season. I hope you all return next term, and bring your friends with you. Lastly, thanks to you, the viewer. It has been a privilege to be able to bring you some of Boro's finest moments here on YouTube, as well as 'that miss', which brought the club attention from around the world. There's only one Rocky Baptiste! How long until next season? The Fool (and his Monkey)

Boro' ended up winning reasonably comfortably against a lively Leyton team. Goals from Troy Hewitt, Ryan Watts (straight from a corner), and James Fraser put the Reds through to the next round of the Championship Manager Cup (Isthmian League Cup). The usual apologies for focus issues under the lights. The Fool (and his Monkey)
