Re: â From: bazeny.dvorak@iol.cz Sent: Sunday, 5 October 2008 2:53:15 AM To: FROM:MR SIN WAI KIN. (sinwaikinhk@yahoo.com.hk) Dear Friend, Let me start by introducing myself.I am Mr Sin Wai Kin Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the operations of the Hang Seng Bank Ltd.I have a secured business suggestion for you. Before the US and Iraqi war our client Major Fadi Basem who was with the Iraqi forces and also business man made a numbered fixed deposit for 18calendar months, with a value of Thirty million United State Dollars ($30000000.00) only in my branch. Upon maturity several notice was sent to him, even during the war early this year.Again after the war another notification was sent and still no response came from him. We later find out that Major Fadi Basem and his family had been killed during the war in bomb blast that hit their home. After further investigation it was also discovered that Major Fadi Basem did not declare any next of kin in his official papers including the paper work of his bank deposit. And he also confided in me the last time he wasat my office that no one except me knew of his deposit in my bank. So,Thirty million United State Dollars($30000000.00)is still lying in my bank and no one will ever come forward to claim it.Whatbothers me most is that according to the laws of my country at the expiration 4 years the funds will revert to the ownership of the Hong Kong Government if nobody applies to claim the funds. Against this backdrop ...

Mixed Close for Asian Markets - China Steelmakers Gain 12:12 PM, Jul 21, 2010 -- Asian markets closed mixed Wednesday as Chinese steel stocks jumped on expectations for industry consolidation, but Japanese export shares continued their recent decline on a strengthening yen. Around the region, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average shed 0.2%, South Korea's Kospi rose 0.7%, Taiwan's Taiex slipped 0.1% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 climbed 0.2%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index advanced 1.1% and China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.3%, its third straight gain. MarketWatch cited news that China is aiming to slash the number of steelmakers in the country by about 75%. Hopes that spot steel prices had reached a bottom also supported sector gains. Deutsche Bank analysts said about 40 medium to small mills in China had raised their prices modestly in the past two days. Among active issues, Angang Steel and Maanshan Iron & Steel were each up around 8% in Hong Kong trading. In Shanghai, Baoshan Iron & Steel was up 1.1%, while Wuhan Iron & Steel gained 1%. Japan's Nippon Steel gained 0.7%. In Tokyo, technology shares initially gained on back of Apple's (AAPL) earnings beat but forfeited those early gains by the time trading closed. Exporters, including Nissan Motor, down 1%, and Toyota, down 0.8%, fell as the yen strengthened against major currency counterparts cutting the attractiveness of Japanese products on global markets and hurting company profits earned abroad and necessary to convert back into ...
