Hancock County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 74,782. Its county seat is Findlay and was named for John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence. The Hancock County area has a strong connection with the Toledo Metropolitan Area and upon other opinions, it is sometimes considered part of the metropolitan area.
