Giuseppe Bergomi (born 22 December 1963) is a former Italian association footballer, who spent his entire career at Internazionale. He held the record of most appearances for the club, until overtaken by Javier Zanetti, having enjoyed 20 seasons with the same team.

Equally at ease as a centre or right back, Bergomi and the likes of Milan player Franco Baresi and Juventus greats Gaetano Scirea and Antonio Cabrini formed the backbone of the Italian defence for much of the 1980s and were part of the 1982 FIFA World Cup-winning squad.

He is affectionately referred to whomdate=March 2011 as "Lo zio" ("the uncle") because of the impressive moustache he wore, even as an 18-year old in the 1982 World Cup. Also considered whomdate=March 2011 one of the greatest defenders in the history of the game, he was also dubbed "Il Capitano" ("the captain") as he served as club captain.
