Syed Ghous Ali Shah (born 1 January 1934) (Urdu: سید غوث علی شاہ ) is a Pakistani politician and the current President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Sindh. He was Chief Minister of Sindh, Pakistan from 1985-1988 and later the Chief Executive in 1999. He has also remained the Defence Minister of Pakistan from 1991 � 1993 and the Education Minister of Pakistan from 1997-1999.

This formal invitation was given by President of PML-N Sindh Syed Ghous Ali Shah who met the leader of the group Uzair Baloch in presence of PPP leader Habib Jan. Peoples Aman Committee was banned by Provincial Government of Sindh and subsequently by Federal Interior Ministry both governed by Pakistan Peoples Party. People Aman Committee was banned for running torture cells in Lyari, The gang was said to be involved in abduction, extortions and kidnapping for ransom in the port city of Karachi. Former Chief Minister Sindh and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Leader Ghous Ali Shah met Sardar Uzair Baloch, leader of banned outfit Peoples Aman Committee (PAC), in Lyari. The sources said that Ghous Ali Shah invited Uzair Baloch to join PML-N. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Leader Habib Jan Baloch and other representatives of Lyari were also present in the meeting. It is to be mentioned here that leaders of PML-N, PAC and PPP in Lyari criticised PPP government in Sindh regarding the recent operations in Lyari, a strong hold of PPP.
