George Bush Intercontinental Airport, is a Class B international airport in Houston, Texas (USA), serving the Houston Sugar Land Baytown metropolitan area. Located 20 mi (32.2 km) north of Downtown Houston between Interstate 45 and U.S. Highway 59. George Bush Intercontinental Airport has scheduled flights to domestic and international destinations. The airport is named after George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport served 40,479,569 passengers in 2010 making the airport the seventh busiest for total passengers in North America. In 2006, the airport was named the fastest growing of the top ten airports in the United States by the United States Department of Transportation. Houston is home to the headquarters of Continental Airlines, and Bush Intercontinental is Continental's largest hub with an average of 800 daily departures. Following Continental's merger with United Airlines, the airport will be the largest and primary hub for United.
