Garfield County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington. As of 2010, the population was 2,266, making it the least populous in the state; with about 3.2 PD/sqmi, it is Washington's least densely populated county. The county seat is at Pomeroy, the county's only city. It was named after U.S. President James A. Garfield.

Garfield County was created out of Columbia County on November 29, 1881.
