Fulton County is the westernmost county of the U.S. state of Kentucky. It was formed in 1845 from Hickman County, Kentucky. As of 2000, the population was 7,752. Its county seat is Hickman . The county is named for Robert Fulton. Pro-Confederate during the American Civil War, Fulton County saw raids by both sides during the conflict.

Fulton County is part of the Union City, TN - KY Micropolitan Statistical Area.
